Longer edit time for posts

The old software (RIP) would only allow 5 minute edit time. The new software allows for a much longer time, maybe unlimited, not sure.
I like the change and please keep it like it is now.

The 5 minutes edit time is enough to make changes. To be honest, I really don't think we ever changed that set up even after we launched the new site design.

LOL , are u kidding ? .... 5 minutes is a blink of an eye & NO it isn't long enough ! it'd be nice to have a longer edit time because 5 minutes just ain't gonna cut it sister

after the new site design I was deleting stuff , editing posts days after it launched & it was ? great ( both old & new posts ). now we're back to 5 minutes

Don't get me wrong rwjr. But for me, this is the one main good reason as to why we need to implement the 5 minutes time edit. One cannot just go and change their post (especially the old posts).

Im not saying it has to be that long but a little more time to notice screwups & fix them .

Hopefully can find way to prevent the editing of old posts, but increase the 5 minute limit to like 15 or 30 - and also timestamp when the editing took place like how SBR does it, as long as there a timestamp that will ensure post history integrity because unedited posts can still be trusted as original.

If anyone needs to delete or edit a post, they can always contact a MOD.

We don't want sports posters to delete or change their plays, units, etc...
